We only collect the minimum information necessary to provide our service:

• Billing Metadata: Credit card nicknames, billing dates, and due dates. We never ask for your full card number, CVV, or bank login credentials.
• Reward Data: Reward points balances if provided by you.
• Technical Data: IP address and browser type for security and performance monitoring.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

• Generate your daily credit card action plan.
• Notify you of upcoming due dates.
• Provide "Purchase Intelligence" and reward optimization scores.
• Monitor and improve the performance of our application.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your financial metadata for targeted advertising.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Cloudflare Workers infrastructure. While the data is stored globally, we implement industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Session tokens are stored in your browser's local storage for your convenience.

4. Your Rights (DPDP Act)

Under the DPDP Act, you have the following rights regarding your digital personal data:

• Right to Information: You can ask what data we hold about you.
• Right to Correction: You can update your profile and card details at any time within the app.
• Right to Erasure: You can delete your account and all associated data through your account settings.
• Right to Grievance Redressal: You can contact us with your privacy concerns.

5. Guest Mode

If you use CardWise in "Guest Mode," all card data is stored only on your device (Local Storage). We do not receive or store this information on our servers unless you create an account.

6. Main Site Relationship

This application is a sub-service of creditplanner.in. While this specific tool does not contain affiliate links, the main CreditPlanner site may monetize through affiliate partnerships. These partnerships do not influence the scoring logic within this tool.
